Martingale Chain - ADD ON
Martingale chains consist of short welded links, one O-ring and two D-rings. The upper (o-ring) ring is used for snapping in the leash.
The Black Finish martingale is intended for show collars. It is not intended for everyday wear as it causes excessive wear of the finish.
Both black and silver are made of welded stainless steel. Expect strength and durability.
More about martingales:
A martingale chain is a type of dog collar designed to provide gentle control over a dog without causing discomfort or harm. It consists of a length of chain that tightens when tension is applied but loosens when the tension is released. The martingale collar is often used for training and walking dogs, especially those that may have a tendency to slip out of traditional collars.
The main purpose of a martingale collar is to prevent dogs from escaping or slipping out of their collars, particularly for breeds with smaller heads or dogs that tend to pull. The martingale design helps distribute pressure more evenly around the neck compared to a choke chain, reducing the risk of injury.
It's essential to use a martingale collar responsibly and ensure it is fitted correctly to avoid any discomfort for the dog. Always consider consulting with a professional dog trainer for advice on using training tools effectively and safely.
